vengeance666 - Ogero DSL?
Yes at home and that also applies to 2 internet cafes I go to where people gather and do the same things.
Then seems changed. or protocols changed.
Its a hit and miss for example it works for dota 2 but doesnt work for planetside 2 etc. whatever requires direct IP connecting.
meh. nevermind.

In VISP control panel page, i found download speed at 4 Mbit/s (1 Mbit/s), what that mean is it 4 or 1?, and the actual download speed never go over 75 KB/s?, is there any explanation?.
I will make sure control panel shows correct values, cause there was changes in billing recently.
Hussam - let me know if ur FUP still remains, i will reset it manually. We plan to stop FUP completely soon.

thanks, is it normal to see speedtest result about 0.5 Mbit/s for download and 0.9 Mbit/s for upload? and ping time about 165 ms, can connection issues affect, because I noticed that my reseller connects 8 users to a hub not to switch and then to the access point!.
thanks.

256 Kbit/s ( 1 Mbit/s )
56 Kbit/s ( 512 Kbit/s )
Right now, I get ~7 to 16 kbytes per second http
most likely FUPed since it is half than the 256k.
PS: Any way I can upgrade to a higher plan?
So yes, FUP looks like it is still there :)

We forgot to upgrade broadband services (there is different servers for resellers and direct services), i will try to contact management tomorrow about this question.
NC, did you check the FUP thing?
there also seems to be small packet loss issue to the outside world

I'm suffering from a huge problem now. Everytime I try open I website I'm faced with the infamous "No data recieved" I had to refresh several times to get this page to open and I don't know if my comment will be posted when I click submit. I have been with VISP for 5 years or so and the times that I had a good connection can be counted on fingers. I'm supposed to have a 1Mbps connection or the imaginary "2 Mbps" after the upgrades but all I get is 50kb/s if I'm lucky and Guess What ? When I asked my reseller why the monthly consumption didn't changed he said I have to wait until my account is renewed. I don't get FUP time. Heck, from 3 AM till 8 AM that's the time I use to download my stuff and the time we geeks come alive. I know how much work and effort nuclearcat is putting to give consumers the best experience and I want to thank him for that, and maybe for keep this ISP running. I really appreciate your hard work. But there seems to be a problem somewhere which isn't really fixed.

Give me username in private messages, i will check why such problem happen, it is not normal at all.
NC, I can't connect to "planeshift.teamix.org" port "7777" UDP.
The game support said nothing wrong from their side. Is it possible there is a problem with high UDP ports?
On VISP side should be no problem, if you are real IP - especially (they are bypassing QoS and any restrictions).
I'm checking real ip traffic now - try to make a connection.
I am trying now. Cannot connect.
I see it, they are sending oversized UDP packets that doesn't pass your ppp connection (u have reduced MTU, because of scheme you are connected, it is normal for ppp connections with overhead).
It is generally unsafe to send udp packets 1428 bytes size., they should avoid such practice, as SIP protocol are doing.
I will try to see how to increase mtu now, try to reconnect your router where pppoe account is set.
It connects now. Thank you very much NC
I'm having the same problem can't connect to some servers after 8 pm since couple of days. Is it a national problem?
Should not be, hussam issue was pretty clear.
Did VISP remove FUP. I have my internet from the cable guy.before when I log to my "mystat.visp.net.lb/#persinfo" there were a 2 bar about fup that show the percentage before getting fup. but know those 2 bar are always 0 although i download more than 500 MB after 8:00 am. Does this mean that their is no fup.
Is it possible to download torrents if I change to visp?
Is it possible to download torrents if I change to visp?
Most likely yes, otherwise someone would have complained by now. You will need a real IP though.
How can I pay for it? Did anyone try torrents? Nuclearcat any help would be appreciated in this matter.
Hussam thanks man !
Edit: ok I figured out some stuff, how much do v-points cost and where can buy the cards from?
