Anyone with a Cyberia connection please post your inquiries and complains here.
I would just like to know if anyone here has been experiencing exceptionally high pings of over 400ms for the last week. I contacted support and they said it was normal which is unbelievable considering i have been having 90ms for almost 3 years.
they are switching us between servers , i had a very high ping which can go up to 2000 ms and after i called several times one of them told me he's going to switch me to the gaming server and the ping was back to normal 90~100 ms
I had such bad experience with Cyberia that I'm very surprised they still exist.
Thanks ali i will call them and demand they transfer me to the gaming server.
Edit: Customer service said they will follow my case to give me a better experience after demanding i get my 90ms ping instead of the bs 400 ~ 1000ms ping. Anyway ali can i you give me the your ip to check your ip pool and demand i get put in the same pool. Thanks for your help.

Cyberia's usual pings are horrible 500+, but then they do improve after you're put in the gaming pool. It's been a huge improvement for me even since, over above 97, bandwidth is usually stable.
Although it would be great if ogero improved khalde center, you can only subscribe into 512Kb speed.
After about 3 phone calls 3 days in a row they finally put me on the gaming pool.
I witnessed the witnessed phenomenon when i was FUPed, my speed was reduced to 5KB and reverted back to normal at 2AM but all my downloads to origin went at a stable 120KB. ( After multiple emails after 3 days of not using the internet for downloads after 2AM send them an email tell them tell them you haven't been using the internet heavily for 3 days.)
Anybody experiencing so strict FUP ? i mean i didn't download more than 8 GB in the 11-7 time during the whole month and i was FUPed for two days

Cyberia has the worst FUP of all companies 5KB but it only lasts 3 days.

yeah and they are being very strict in applying it , I am upgrading to 2 mb package starting tomorrow and not so excited to try downloading after 11 for the fear of being FUPed :(
Cable providers have been awesome with 500KB download and 2000KB upload i am thinking of switching, the problem is they are not stable.

if they were stable no one wouldn't switch to a cable but there's always a big chance there's no connection when you need it
upgraded today to 2M and i was shocked that the ping was better
i usually have 107 ms and now its 70 and even 60
i know that ping isn't related to bandwidth but this wasn't expected
Edit : the speed is still the same its a problem and they are working on it but the bandwidth in the modem is shown 512/ 2 mb

i usually have 91 ms ping, I am think of taking a 1Mbps/4gb connection for gaming and an unlmited cable guhy connection for browsing and such, it is way cheaper than 2mbps plan.
so , its now 4 oct and the speed is still the same
the bandwidth on the modem shows i am upgraded but the speed that i can use to download is still getting to the max of 120 kb/s so there's no upgrade and i am being contacted daily for some screenshots and whatever but still no solution
EDIT :called them today and they moved my case to urgent and it was solved instantly

Why are you paying 50$ for 512k first !
you can have a 2mb package with best ping if you get dsl

If you wan't unlimited quota + good ping , I have bad news for you bro
It used to be good and they never fuped me. I used to download about 50 gigs per month.
What happened to the internet. Cyberia and sodetel used to have good ping.
My connection
This is my ping to cyberia's router http://imgur.com/kQ475tl
Is this even normal?
Can someone run the test?
for me ping to cyberia's router is 12~13 ms
i think its like you're not connected directly to the dsl many things can vary with the ping
I contacted cyberia with a hard language and talked about my ping. i said it's been 600ms (and it's 1200ms while i'm writing this post) then i got a reply to download a file from their website and run it and then send the txt file that the batch file creates and this is what's inside the txt.

I think it's a problem from your re-seller , did you tell them that you aren't connected directly to dsl ?
