Router for sim card

Hello

I currently have a D-link router with a Touch sim card inserted that i got from IDM.
Touch is not that good in my area so i will switch to Alfa.

My question is, can i use the same router (D-link) with an Alfa sim card? (Alfa support don't know :s)
If not, what router do you recommend? or i can only use a router from Alfa?

Re: Router for sim card

The routers from IDM are SIM locked. You cannot use them with another SIM from touch or Alfa

I think it is the other way round, the IDM sim can only be used on IDM router and cannot be used on other routers.
As for touch or alfa a normal data sim can be used on any device (also works with IDM device) however residential broadband can only be used on touch/alfa devices.
