BattleField 4 - Game Thread.

So ,much like BattleField 3 , this topic is created to discuss everything about BattleField 4 .
To avoid flooding all the new posts about the game.

So here we go to the first post of the topic.
Just saw the press conference yesterday, Saw BF4 , was mind blown !
The game is much more dynamic now, with the Levolution . You can interact with many things in the game maps.
Saw the new Jets,  was amazed !
Saw the new Snipers , awesome !
Also many many more things . Keeping in mind that it was just a glimpse of them that i saw.

In conclusion , i just cant wait for the game to come out and start playing it. Which will be on 29th of October.
Battlefield 4 Beta is already now in my library on origin (Because i have BF3 Premium). and it will be released in the early of October as well.

4 maps from bf3 will be back in a bf4  expansion pack if I am not mistaken I guess I saw Firestorm in a video, I hope they bring firestorm back :) game looks awesome, I guess I will buy the RU version from cjs when they release it and spare some dollars.

Only Seige of Shanghai map is available to play !

You can start preloading the Beta today at 8:00 PM and will be able to play on Tuesday starting at 11:00 AM.

If you pre-ordered MOH, BF4, or you are a BF3 Premium (that's my case) you can play on October 1st. Otherwise you will have to wait for the 4th of October it will be open for everyone.

@ballad yea i know, thats what most of the community complained about!

Anyway, i started pre-loading the Beta now.  Can't wait!

@Aly , are you sure we only have the chance to start playing at tuesday?

I started the preloading, we will see how it is on Tuesday :)

@ ballad pretty much yea, that is the case if actually we are going to have to wait to start playing after the download is complete.
or, maybe preload is downloading a Beta game maybe  that's what I figured. like downloading beta games is called preloading lol.

@georges_1 If u can pass by Dekwaneh area after 8:30,i can give it to you.

Preloading games is usually available for all digitally purchased games, you can start downloadinf the beta / or full game 2-3 days before the launch date but you cant play it, on the official launch date you have everything ready and start playing immediately.
BF4 finished preloading, its about 5.5 GB.

I think you cant right now, I have 2 Origin accounts, one with Battlefield 3 Standard and one with Battlefield 3 Premium, the account with premium got BF4 Beta automatically added to the games library, the standard one didnt get it (Neither the option for preload) I tried to add it from the store but I couldnt.

As usual, to avoid downloading BF4 beta multiple times on our limited Lebanese connection, or if you are giving the files to a friend to skip the download here what you need to do, I just tried it on my brother's PC and it worked:

1- Run Origin and press Preload, let it download for a minute or two until "Battlefield 4 Beta" folder is created in Origin Games folder.
2- Pause update.
3- Exit Origin and make sure its not running in the background.
4- Delete the "Battlefield 4 Beta" folder from your Origin Games folder and copy paste the 5.5 GB one you already downloaded.
5- Open notepad and paste the below:

Make sure to edit the game path to meet yours the one above is the default, save this as bf4.reg or anything *.reg.

6- Run the bf4.reg and click yes.
7- Open Origin and go to your games, right click on Battlefield 4 Beta and click Cancel Update.
8- Right Click "Repair Install", wait a couple of minutes for it to finish.
9- That's it your game is ready.

EDIT: I joined the beta (Graphics are set on AUTO and are HIGH), played for about a couple of minutes, didn't like the game much, hated the map (Siege Of Shanghai), left the game, I cant really judge it as it is only one map and the game is beta, but currently I am not really satisfied.

I'm downloading it now... some people have told me that it's bad. any feedback ?

Also if you're copying the game to multiple computers but bounded to the same Origin account, you don't need the registry fix, just pause and close origin and replace the BF4 folders. I figured this out yesterday trying to sync Crysis 3 (Origin) after a Windows format.
