Buying bikes in Lebanon?

Hello!
Last time I bought a bike was 15 years ago when Raleigh and Peugeot were the best,now I am tempted to buy a new bike but I have no idea about the brands and prices,anyone has infos?
Can I find something good under 500$?

Hi;

I believe he means bicycles not motorcycles. Anyhow if you are near el zarif area, I know a place where professional bicycles are sold.

Regards.

Of course you can. You can get an average Subaru Forester for around 300$, a better one for around 450$ (I had a pro, 800$).

I don't know exactly. I don't know if they're still selling them honestly.
But Mike Sport has Trek. Trek is the best brand I know of. They are the Bently of bicycles. Bit pricey yes but very VERY worth it. They never get broken.

Re: Buying bikes in Lebanon?

I think the most important things are the vitesses,brakes and tires,as long as these 3 are very good quality the bike is top notch.I don't care about carbon fiber or terminator alloy component,I will use the bike only a couple of times a year.
There are sometimes huge differences in prices from a brand to another for the same quality,if only Raleigh was still running...

I am thinking of getting a bicycle too. I heard there's a good shop in Furn El Chebbak called Bike Generation. Though I'm not sure what brands of bikes they have. I was thinking of checking it out sometime soon.

rami12, can you please provide us with more information about the shop in Zarif.

You can also try Scott. Even better than Trek and at a reasonable price compared to quality. Got my Voltage YZ4 5 years ago and it is epic.
