man.. IDK.. i never played online... i dont even have a PSN account.. im gonna make one as soon as i get a router to go online on ps3... btw.. if i have a cable internet.. can there be internet on my ps3 without getting a router and just plugging in my cable internet on the ps3 ??
it will work. But since usually "cable" connections are crap, i doubt you will be able to play without lag.

By the way you need to update your ps3 before going online and it takes a while so don't get psyched as soon as you plug in the cable and create your account.

I play mw3 mostly. Recently came across a lobby hosted by someone in lebanon and got close to perfect ping. Unfortunately got to play just one round before the server disconnected.
