fadijm wrotehello i am interested in getting a wireless internet connection. SME and terranet provide a similar wireless service but SME charges less for installation and subscription whilst TerraNet far more expensive. SME claim that they can provide upto 32 mbps symmetric but it is Shared Internet Access (SIA) you can also add static ip for 4 dollars extra. Is terranet also SIA or is it dedicated? and are the equipment like antenna the same? because if i want to move from sme to terranet i do not want to pay for another antenna again.
I don't know who SME are. This is a stable service I've been using from terranet for 2 years. The subscription service has not degraded excluding the occasional hiccup which I understand. Terranet is SIA. It's microwave and they install Mikrotiks, which has it's own proprietary protocol so if someone else uses ubiquiti or some other brand your hardware might not work. In most cases it will but again, I don't know who SME are.
You can search SME up they claim to also be symmetrical. For the price they are offering which is upto 32 mbps for both down and up is amazing including the face you can also get real ip. Unfortunately they could not give me the service because my area is not covered. Funny thing is that my neighbor gets internet from them. My issue with terranet is that they are expensive and apparently they are lowering the upload speeds intentionally.
They are not lowering upload speeds anymore. Also apparently that was only happening for me, no one else was facing it. Also I don't trust anyone who advertises "Real IP". Are these guys getting bandwidth from ogero or just some a rebranded sub company of one of the other providers idk, until someone tries them and they can tell me they're using 1.5TB per month without getting throttled and they're getting the same up/down at any time of the day I have my doubts.

Thanks for your response. I will consider their services. But what was the reason to why your upload speed was lowered?
I am not sure, it fixed itself a week later, but the other members here confirmed their upload speed was fine.
This is what it looks like right now.

obv not as much as they used to pre crisis
We are facing a lot of drops in the connection, and Terranet NOC has defined that one of their nodes is not working properly,85.112.85.85.

WhatsApp, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube videos are not loading well. Are you facing any issues with your connection?
RandomMemory wroteIt's already at fresh USD.
alfa/touch, private intenet companies still paying ogero on the old 1500 LL/$ rate for their bandwidth. They might have to charge more when they start paying whats they're supposed to pay if they didn't take that into cosideration with their current pricing.

I am thinking about installing wdsl 12 mb package. Anyone can recommend it?
Hello Mahmoud, for me, I had it installed in 3 different locations. It works fine and the speed is 10Mbps on fast/com. After midnight it doubles. Also, we faced some issues during installation: Delay in installation, you pay for a router and they don't provide it without a fight, make sure to have it written that they will provide a router. After installation you might have missed packets, mainly due to the quality of the router or the repeater if you have it in your house.

In a nutshell, it is very convenient in comparison to DSL speeds. Also, Terranet NOC is very responsive in case of an issue. Sometimes their PPPoE server could be down, but they quickly recovers it.
Thank you for your response. What package are you subscribed to?
It is 8Mbps on each of the 3 accounts.
Great thank you. I filled the application hopefully prices stay the same after ogero raise

I am not sure where on their website you see 50$ for 2Mb, but this was the old pricing.

Now, the prices shared by bobo619, are the updated ones for WDSL.
