How's the configuration of the pcr room?
Is it a sort of corridor with 3-4 tables where people wait in lines, and a door on the left or right where you go out? If yes there's someone at the door who checks if you did the test?

I just came back, you can walk out of queue if no one is looking and there are a lot of people. But if it's a short line then you won't be able to. When I got to the line there were just a few people, I've been through so many times and they forced everyone to get it, even a woman who had a nose job and she was screaming.
It is ridiculous, it's just another example of a corrupt, failed, useless, money grabbing country. Fuck this place.

Checking the airport time table, there are 2 other planes coming 15/20 minutes after mine, so I will take all my time to get out of the plane and I will walk as slow as possible so the other 2 planes arrive :)
Are they still harsh in testing going too high in the nose or they are becoming more gentle?

I was pretty pissed and rude (because it completely disgusts me how this is a scam). Told the lady who took my info "mabrook il $50" and then the lady who was gonna take a swab "balid maskhara" and she said "shu badna na3mil" she barely put the swab inside.
I dunno why they don't just cheek swab, it's all pointless.
infiniteloop
They told me to do the opposite, people who are asking them to be gentle with the swab are surprised to see they will get the opposite result as "mkeye", and that we should just be cool and polite with them so they won't be revengeful with the swab

An asshole is an asshole.
A saint is a saint.
Everyone that got that job got it by some wasta, just like most government jobs and employees. So, they're assholes in my book because they took the place of someone who actually deserved it. Not all, but most.
Like I said, I seen them force a lady who had a nose job do it, like she still had black eyes and bandages. WTF. I even spoke out, but can you reason with a brick wall? They only take their job seriously when it inconveniences their fellow citizens. Could you imagine if all government employees took their job so seriously and didn't want to cut corners?

I am very deceived by Firas Abiad, if he cannot change the pcr thing then at least he should say it loud and clear that a political party or politicians are behind this pcr bs

Do it. I've done it twice and everything was OK. That test in the airport is useless anyway!
Good luck man!

As you heard the mandatory PCR test at the airport is finally gone, though it's not clear about the vaccination thingy.
If you did the 2 shots of pfizer a bit more than 6 months ago, you should do a third one? Or they consider the 2 shots as enough even though older than 6 months?
infiniteloop
Ok answering my own question after asking both ministry of Health and travel agency, if already "fully vaccinated" you don't need a 3rd shot if done with Pfizer even if it exceeds 6 months
beezer
Came in last month, 2 doses of Pfizer, still needed to present negative PCR to board the plane.
Don't know if that's what you're asking because that's the only place they check if it's 6 months or older. They never asked when I arrived.
