  • Prepaid lines pricing in LBP

Hi,
Apparently there has been changes to the prepaid system? My balance is now in LBP, but on the Alfa website everything is still displayed in dollars. I’d like to recharge my line before coming in to lebanon next week, can anyone explain what has happened and what I should know? Thank you!
Technically nothing has changed.
You are still paying 1,500 LBP for the dollar.

They only made users see their balance in LBP instead of Dollar once they check (1$ / 1500 LBP).
Although they kept the option to see in dollars if you want to, there's a different code to check for dollar balance.


In my opinion, this is merely stage one of their upcoming future plans of increasing all mobile data plans / prices as well as DSL Internet later on.

Most probably later stages will happen until after the elections.
