  • Shipping a Desktop Computer Through LibanPost

Hello Guys,

I am thinking of shipping my desktop computer (Without the Monitor) through Libanpost (instead of removing most of the parts and carrying it myself). Does anyone have an experience with shipping a desktop? Their price is kind of acceptable (around 100$)

The other option would be selling my PC and buying a new one. But obviously with a loss, especially due to the parts shortage worldwide.

Your input is highly appreciated.

Thanks
I shipped a bike helmet with them on 31 July and it arrived in the USA on 17 August using "Postal Registered Mail" service.

The box was 36x24x24 with around 1Kg. I paid 110000 LPB.
Thank you HzSamer for your input.

I am wondering whether they take care of packaging the case or I should take care of that...etc
What happened with the Helmet that you shipped?

Thanks

You should take care of the packaging.

They're taking 100$ fresh?
Are you flying on an airline? Did you check how much it would cost to just check in an extra box with you? When I moved I put 2 towers and a bunch of accessories in a box. I paid around $80 I think, don't know what it would be today. Check the airline, you're allowed 23kg.

Is it worth shipping a PC with the following specs to Canada ?
What is the approximate price by air ? by sea ? can I remove the cooler (so it doesn't break the motherboard) and ship it with me on the plane ?

Coolermaster Mastercase Pro 5 case
Asus Z170K motherboard
Intel i7 6700 cpu
Noctua NH-U12S air cooler
G.Skill Aegis 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4 ram
Noctua 4 x 140mm PWM case fans
Thermatalke Toughpower Grand 750W (Gold - Fully Modular)
Just to update you guys,

I ended up disassembling the PC myself, taking everything except the case, wrapping everything in bubble wrap.

All good
This is how I took my PC with me, just the parts without the case, later I shipped the monitor with Libanpost with plenty of other stuff, with the help of the family they shipped me that huge 20KG box which costed around 250k LBP (rate was around 12k like a 10 months ago), I used the PC on the motherboard box for a month while I was looking for a place to stay
