But when I used to turn on the phone it said SM_N920F, and when i tried to flash a firmware the first time it said N920TAvoK95 wroteDo NOT flash the firmware that is not designated to your specific model number, you could hard brick the device to a point where the only way to fix it is to do a JTAG.
The factory firmware will have your modem locked and thus you have to use a custom ROM with a hacked modem to have it unlocked and be able to use your SIM.
Otherwise, you have to contact the carrier abroad for them to unlock it for you.

What carrier is your phone from? usually, they have a tramp stamp somewhere on the phone, maybe there's a sticker on the rear of the box. It is very important to flash the correct firmware and avoid flashing the wrong one.MIchelHayek wroteBut when I used to turn on the phone it said SM_N920F, and when i tried to flash a firmware the first time it said N920TAvoK95 wroteDo NOT flash the firmware that is not designated to your specific model number, you could hard brick the device to a point where the only way to fix it is to do a JTAG.

And now you can read the first post I made suggesting you to check custom ROMs on XDA for a modified modem, otherwise you have to contact T-Mobile to unlock it for you.MIchelHayek wrotebut there isnt any unlocked 920TAvoK95 wroteThen you need to flash the firmware for an N920TMIchelHayek wrote https://www.imei.info i checked here and the result was SM-N920T
