Will this CPU bottleneck this GPU

Will an i7 6700 (non K version) bottleneck a RTX 3060 Ti (when it comes out supposedly on Nov 17th) on 1080p @ 60Hz ?

Can anyone who replies kindly provide proof/links?

At 1080p 60hz no it will surely not. If your aiming for more 144+ fps it might. I don t think any gpu can bottleneck with the 6700 at 60hz.

So if my current machine is (i7 6700 + GTX 1060 6GB + 16GB Ram + 2 SSD drives) the first thing I should consider upgrading is my GPU (or not even that as I am on 1080p and 60Hz) ?

I would not upgrade anything if you are aiming for 60fps 1080p currently all game should run fine on high to medium settings.

We don't know how the RTX 3060 Ti performs yet in order to give you a straight answer.

Alright. Assuming I end up buying the RTX 3060 Ti, will this PSU be enough ?

RTX 3060 Ti is overkill for 1080 60hz.

Bro yout 1060 is more than enough. If u want to upgrade build a new system with at least a 1440p 144hz monitor
