Setting up remote access

hello
i am trying to setup remote access to a server ( a small erp app ) in Lebanon
the connection is DSL Ogero but have 0 clue about anything else ( last time i was in this office is around 4 years ago )
the staff has also 0 clue - how can i setup a remote access via dsl ogero ? do i need DDNS ?

First you need to know what kind of remote access is provided by the server.
There are several protocols such as SSH, RDP (Windows Remote Desktop), VNC, web.

You might not be able to do it, as Ogero lately give NAT ip's (fake ip's). Make sure they always give you real ip.

i will setup a mikrotik router dialing into my main server public ip vpn

Just make sure you use VPN that is friendly with NAT. L2TP, openvpn or similar, should be trivial task then.
PPTP sometimes gives hell and its not secure.
