and does Aramex accept paying on delivery with LBP on 1515 rate?

Amazon US is very slow now because of Covid while Amazon Germany is pretty fast, they delivered to my German SnS address in 4 days.
Anyway it looks like there is a huge shortage of motherboards worldwide, I am trying to check a X570 mobo and I could only find 1 model out of 10 in any major shop like amazon and b&H
Yes SnS accepts lbp 1515 but they increased a bit their prices because of covid so better check before with the calculator
Amazon Germany also has great discounts on everything related to cameras and lenses

I just noticed it!wollyka wroteHe means that a lot of sellers stopped shipping through Singapore or China or Aliexpress standard shipping to Lebanon which were cheap and are only offering shipping through EMS, Fedex or DHL which are a LOT more expensive
Anyone knows why?
yea the same for ebay.
Because our airport is closed. You think they don't know?

Yes, I even ordered a couple of items the last few weeks and they were shipped but later received notifications that the parcels were returned to the seller due to the airport closure. So it is like a lottery now.

Is ''onyourway'' dead?
Planes will resume in 3 weeks to Lebanon
It was a great idea but the fees were too high, a camera lens that costed 700$ in the US was considered as a 200$ fees for transport which is nearly +30%, if they can reconsider the fees I think it will be better than all shipping methods as we can bypass customs.

i don't think onyourway is dead, i believe they will start again after airport and travelers resume, but as you said their service was quite overpriced lately, it's nearby like using SnS. plus you have to consider paying the Dollar at very high rate.infiniteloop wroteIs ''onyourway'' dead?

The items are delivered to the address you give them, so no need to go to the airport to pick them up yourself.NuclearVision wrotehey guys, i want to buy a pair of shoes from ebay, the seller can only ship using dhl express.

Regarding the cost, I once bought for 28$ from Hollister, payed 15$ once they were delivered (Vat, clearance...)
Hello guys,
What shipping methods should one choose on Aliexpress to avoid taxes?
On a given item, I only have "Aramex" option. Is that any good?
Thanks!

I have no idea where to start, and I'm scared to order from abroad. Can someone with experience share where I can gethe cheapest method? I can't seem to find an exact method to order from eBay.
Use China Mail (or similar) or Ali express Standard shipping.surfer12 wroteHello guys,

Guys, let's say i have an item shipped through DHL and the fees i have to pay upon receipt are very high, could i just refuse the package? will they send it back to sender for free?
Also, I can pay the fees with LBP right ?
Also, I can pay the fees with LBP right ?
No it doesn't work that way for international packages, DHL wont ship it back and bare the fees themselves, it will be considered an unclaimed package and will be destroyed (I doubt they do that in Lebanon, someone will take it home and enjoy it) and your international seller wont refund you the money since he will never receive the item back, so refusing your shipment is not an option for international packages.NuclearVision wroteGuys, let's say i have an item shipped through DHL and the fees i have to pay upon receipt are very high, could i just refuse the package? will they send it back to sender for free?

On the bright side the fees are paid in LBP (Customs / taxes / clearance).

To avoid these fees try to find a seller having those shipping methods:
China Post Airmail
China Post Small Packet
Singapore Post
Aliexpress Standard Shipping
The list goes one, but I can only remember those ...
thanks for info.Aly wroteNo it doesn't work that way for international packages, DHL wont ship it back and bare the fees themselves, it will be considered an unclaimed package and will be destroyed (I doubt they do that in Lebanon, someone will take it home and enjoy it) and your international seller wont refund you the money since he will never receive the item back, so refusing your shipment is not an option for international packages.NuclearVision wroteGuys, let's say i have an item shipped through DHL and the fees i have to pay upon receipt are very high, could i just refuse the package? will they send it back to sender for free?

It wasn't my fault, seller marked royal post, then used dhl (which i never use because I know they rip people off) if its like 50k i'll pay it, otherwise, i'll try to negotiate the seller for partial refund or send another using royal post.

my order from the Uk took six days to reach distribution center, wasn't even passed to customs, do you think they just trust UK sellers to put the real value on the parcel?

Yes I also noticed this when I order a small package from the US.
it didn't even reach customs and was received at the distribution office quite quickly.
