A civil engineering software called S-Frame
Tried downloading and installing but the damn thing needs a dongle to crack and work

I visited their site and found no mention of any educational option on their Sales page. Many software providers offer cheap options for students. The student will (hopefully) grow to become a professional and (hopefully) become a customer for the professional license.

I don't know about S-Frame but they must have a very strong market, or be very niche, or maybe they just don't care. They are quite expensive. If you're a student wanting to build skills on this particular software then it is not affordable.
