Are Alfa having http issues?

Title. Maybe a borked up cache server?

When colleagues from other branches reported that some of our failing services are because of Alfa and we should look into Touch or a VPN, I thought they're overreacting.

But in the past few days, my phone is failing to load up many http websites that load up just fine via a VPN or via DSL.

Can someone please check and confirm?

Example: http://rss.slashdot.org/Slashdot/slashdotMain
http://stargate-lb.com/movies.php
http://www.whatsmyip.org/http-compression-test/

Can anyone with an Alfa connection load any of these websites? They load on Terranet and Touch, but not Alfa for me.

Re: Are Alfa having http issues?

These links work, but I noticed some trouble last week or the one before, namely, I tried to access the site from the Beirut marathon from a Google search (first match) and it would hang indefinitely. I fired up my VPN and it worked.
I had the same experience with some other site. I even have the feeling that it's faster with the VPN (maybe just placebo).
So I try to keep my VPN on, the trouble is it drains battery and sometimes crashes silently so I think I'm going through it when I'm not in reality.

Couldn't get on ogero's site yesterday on alfa--go figure.  Works today though.

Tried the sites above--first one (slashdot) doesn't load right, but the others are fine.
