DSL Modem in new house

So I took my modem from house A to  house B hoping it would work. House B has never had DSL activated on it and I'm not even getting a broadband light on the modem.

Do I need to get Ogero to activate something on their side or could there be something missing on the line? AFAIK the modem only needs the two standard lines on the telephone cable.

House B is an apartment and from seeing the WiFi connections, someone else in the building has DSL.

Any input is much appreciated.

Are house A and B in the same geographical area ? same central office ?
If not you will need to contact Ogero to activate your subscription in the new apartment.

No they are in different areas. I don't want to have a new subscription, I want to be able to use my modem in either house with the same subscription by just taking the modem with me.

It won't work since the telephone number/line is different (meaning you need a new subscription)
