Hello,
I'm looking for a website that I can download free pdf books from.
I don't want websites that require a credit card for an account.
Thanks for the help.
I use Library Genesis sometimes, it's like piratebay but for books (torrent files).
If you're asking for pirated books, LebGeeks isn't the right place for that.
For public domain content, check out:
https://archive.org/details/texts
https://www.gutenberg.org/
check reddit's r/privacy's megathread (in the sidebar's wiki). It has several helpful links
here's a gold mine https://arxiv.org/
i use this b-ok.xyz
It works like a charm since the ages
Also cse.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=013655911089417511910:upf58vv8xns#gsc.tab=0
cse.google.com/cse/publicurl?cx=001639227550064093264:dznewka3cca
These two google custom engines i combined many sources (and other sources of custom search engines into one)
pretty neat, but i think b-ok.xyz has 95% of the most famous books
This is borderline piracy, but for good cause.
Scihub is practically used by all professors I know even though they have access through their respective university digital library.
You can use libgen.pw for searching it easily.
Some papers have recently started putting scihub links in their papers as reference
Nice resources, thanks, now if i could remember the books that I wanted to read...
