Buying a new laptop

If i am travelling to the states should i buy my notebook from there or from lebanon, and what do you recommend for a 1500-2000 $ budget

Look into MacBooks and Mac Book Pros if you're not a Gamer.
If you need games and want to stick with Windows, I'de recommend Sony VAIO (great screens)
