Excel 2016: numbers in arabic

Hello dears,
In Word 2016, File, Options, Advanced, then I change numerals type into hindi and numbers become Arabic.
Nothing alike in Excel. Please advise.
Thank you

Re: Excel 2016: numbers in arabic

Hi joem,

Go to Format Cells, under Numbers tab, choose Custom
Under Type, paste this [$-2000401]0 and click OK

Now select the cells of your choice and apply this new customized format as it is listed now under custom types.

Hope this helps!

Thank you Sab23, it worked.
But it is quite weird that it does not exist a normal way in Excel as in Word to do that!!
