Studying Medicine, LAU or AUB?

Short summary of my academics, I studies in a public secondary school, passed SV (though my grade was not good), currently starting my third year of Biology in the Lebanese University, I expect an average of about 70/100 (over the 3 years, might be 80 or 85 if only the last year is taken into account). I'll be getting my Bachelors of the Lebanese University, and was wondering since I've decided to switch to medicine.

First question: Will former grades be very relevant to the chances of joining medical school in either university? Do you think I'll manage to get in?

Second question: I need to know your opinion guys, what REALLY makes one better than the other? The only arguments I've heard supporting AUB so far is seniority in the field of medicine and a possibly stricter study program. Is that all it is to it? What are the different future prospects for a student of either university? Will one find himself more comfortable than the other finding/doing their job?
Any answer is appreciated, thanks.
