Hello, i am looking for someone to help me build a website, i need the website to write content in it, post media.
multiple pages.

Buy a host an install wordpress from the panel. You can switch themes etc. no need to develop or reinvent the wheel.
Example: www.hostgator.com
Or try blogger it is free, blogger.com

Wordpress doens't do everything. For some cases, "reinventing the wheel" is a proper solution.

No i don't want word press, i want a custom website, something the designer would make it differ, i'm not looking for something ordinary

Well you could design a wordpress template. It's not about wordpress or not wordpress, we use the right tool for the job. If it has to be Wordpress, be it. But first we need to know more about the website to know if it is the right tool or not.
