Dude forget about the 5700 ya 3amme put 60 $ more and get a 6600 it's like mininimum 2 times better.
And believe me I know what I'm talking about, I have an overclocked 5700.

Re: which vga card to buy from pc and parts

no matter how much they pump up the 5700 there's no chance it will get to the level of a 6600 IMHO.

I am no expert, but to my limited knowledge, inno is usually not that bad, still better than "jetway" or other never-heard-of names.

check these benches and see how much difference there is between the 6600 and the 5950:
http://graphics.tomshardware.com/graphi … _mark_2005

And that is still the 5950, which is at least 30% more powerful than the 5700.
So, are you willing to pay 175$ for a 6600?

It's sad to see how shops like microfolie that were not pricy at all after a certain gain of success are overpricing their products

lol how the heck is that logical...

Forgot to continue my answer ,

as rolf said the 6600 ""GT"" is an awesome VGA make sure u get it and not the 5700 because performancewise the GT can last you a minimum of 2 to 3 years from now ...

you must be confusing the 6000 GT and the NX 6600 which is the one I\'m talking about.

Re: which vga card to buy from pc and parts

oh you bet ...   ATI is definately better than nVidia in marketing ... and prices :
i don't know if any one is interested but if want you can research how ATI attacks nvidia ... when nvidia launches a new card ATI retaliates by launching a better one in a matter of weeks ... til now ATI has the crown in single and dual GPU ... it's nvidia's turn to attack now so we are all waiting for their new G71 chipset ... i hope it's not too much better than my 1900 XTX lol    peaceZzZ

Re: which vga card to buy from pc and parts

i have no idea in lebanon about leb ...
but the crossfire ATI 1900 is like 500 $ cheaper than SLI nvidia 7800GTX   and muuuuch betterr  so it's kind of weird ..
unless nvidia has this super ultimate plan to crush ATI with some new VGA that sprays water then i'll change my mind  about that  :):) lol
