@Karimcfc so far, i don;t mind :) i'll tell you when i do
Hope everyone is enjoying :)
It seems someone deleted my torrent already..
Not me...
TO EVERYONE USING THE SEEDBOX! Kindly don't manage other's torrent, even if you need free space
Come on guys, seriously, don't do it, it isn't really cool
Thanks :)
@Ngel
man i really appreciate what you are doing for your fellows but its kind of sharing a (prostitute) with an army. no offense just kidding
wahaha
Good one mate!
No worries, none taken ;)
wouw, that made my night
I know it wasn't you, Ngel! And haha @kim, perfect quote, torrent-hungry army!
Man, last time i could access your ip from my work, but today it seems it was detected :(
our request was categorized by Blue Coat Web Filter as 'Peer-to-Peer (P2P)'.
Ill try to rent my own seedbox but ill make sure vnc is available too :)
Anyway guys, can anyone please give me the link on how to set up my own seedbox, and Ngel how much did you pay for everything?
@TheStunMan can you still access http://46.32.234.147 ?
Where do you work at?
@Karimcfc i dont think there is a link 'How to setup your own Seedbox' it has many differences and stuff
The machine i own, i pay 40$/month, but you can get something for as low as 10$/month on windows, 7$/month on linux
I work at a telecom company, i talked to the It manager yea himself but he seems as they didn't block it from their side, it was blue cost proxy denial (they use it). Nope that ip was blocked.
I always browse in incgnito mode. It seems that wasnt enough.
Incognito mode is only for anonymisity on your computer, just not to keep any cookie/history
And yes, bluecoat gave me a pretty hard time myself, until i tunneled everything through proxy, and worked
The IT manager can create a rule in the BC, and allow the ip if he's friendly with you
Thanks but not worth it, work *caught* but the funny thing about bluecoat that many illegal sites are not blocked.
Do you think i could bypass it by vnc ?
VNC is for Remote access... can you copy files over VNC ?
and i dont think so... what you need a is a none-flagged proxy ^.^
Well, he can manage his machine with vnc, install utorrent, etc.
If he's not familiar with cmd and/or terminal.
By the way, what happened to the seedbox?
@Karim, i can teach you how to setup your very own seedbox, but you'll need full access to a remote machine somewhere in Europe. It as easy as uncompressing a an archive on your machine. (TorrentVolve)

Fellows, i highly recommend a windows VPS, for seeding windows server includes quality software, i have multi-monitor(3 monitors) setup and i know how VNC looks ugly on your Desktop, windows remote desktop is amazing. so no need to bother with creepy Linux desktop applications

Come on, linux rocks man. I can control my linux machine perfectly from my iphone using vnc, it is good indeed.
@NuclearVision
yeah Linux Rocks of course but for servers only, but don't you agree with me that using Linux on desktop machine is a bad idea? look i have 24 different computing environments 20 of them are Linux, i tried Linux on my desktop many times, multi-monitor setup with Linux is negatively awful
What flavor of linux did you try?
@NuclearVision
well, Debian...most of derivative distributions
as desktop environments of course

You have to find a hosting company that allows torrents. You don't want your account to suspended.
Get a cheap VPS - 256M (for $4) Install Apache, MySQL and install torrentflux (low resources).
That's what I have :)
Torrentflux is a HUGE resource user, check reviews and comments online
if you go linux, get ruTorrent
Sorry I was referring to torrentflux-b4rt - It's low on resources and very good :)
I have rutTorrent installed but I don't like it - It's good for creating torrents and managing RSS feeds.
