When downloading to your computer, will it maintain the same speed? I've read on Forums that FTP speeds should be pretty high
My speed to Ngel's server is pretty stable and high like 137KB/s
I'm getting 45KB/s at max, I was wondering if you can get higher speed via an FTP
No, most isps throttle FTP speeds, as well as https and p2p protocols.
By the way, when you download from Ngel's server, you don't download via ftp, you download via http.
And if you want to speed up your download, download chrome, click on the file you want in google chrome, then cancel the download, and then retry, your download speed will be boosted.
a way that works on most ISP. use a download accelerator. what it does, it open multithreads

use Flashget or Internet Download Manager. i use both and they really work. much better then chrome or firefox usual downloader.

what you need to do, right click on the blue name on http://46.32.234.147/Seedbox/ , copy link location
go to your download accelerator, new task, enter the link, start download

and Enjoy :)

I know but there are few sites that search for "contents" online and make them available on their sites.

As an example, I downloaded a movie while ago, the link was available for everyone. I checked my bandwidth and there were 350 people downloading the same file from Nigeria. I searched the link on Google and I found it in different websites.
