Analogies between the brain and a computer program.

Actually they are very similar.
It just came to my attention that the brain functions in loops. Live long enough, and you'll realise that... you get caught in loop very often... you can even say that your whole life is a loop...
The brain works no different then a program, there is the main loop, and then secondary loops... and even smaller loops, etc....
Some loops are good and go crescendo, some loops are bad and destructive...
There are some differences though, one is that "brain loops" get weaker with time
I dont think there is such a thing in computer programs, a program stuck in a bad loop just stays there until the user ends it, the OS ends it, or the CPU goes up in smoke...
Human brain is different on that aspect, loopy behavior tends to "fade away", although it can take monthes or years.
I guess with every iteration of the loop, the brain seems to slightly modify it's structure...

Also programs have hierarchical nested loops... the brain works more in parallel loops, one loop affecting the other, for example the loop of procrastination affecting the loop of succeeding your studies...
