Upgrading The Fireware For My Sportster 56K Us Robotics Fax Modem

I'm having some slight problems with my external modem, it only connects at 33.6k with VISP dial-up. I know why it's not working - it's because my modem uses x2, while VISP uses v90, so I'm getting a lower speed due to the compatibility issues. Now, I know it's possible to upgrade my modem's fireware/driver to v90, but I can't find it! I need help, I know it's possible, this guy did it with the same modem -

My modem's model number is 00178602. Sometimes they consider it as 0459. Any help?
