Geek ART ;)

Geeky Art:

usually, in simple editors like notepad or a programing editor i use characters to
create underlining, table, or for a header ...

========     =--------=
HEADER         Footer
========     =--------=

Table
               Col1   |  Col2   |   Col3
           -----------+---------+---------
               value1 |  value1 |  value2
               value2 |  value2 |  value2
               value3 |  value3 |  value2
               value4 |  value4 |  value2

i usually draw smiley faces using the characters or simple stuff

   ^     ^
   0     0
      v

Interesting, it could be as hard or as easy as you want. Some people visualise things better than others

Re: Geek ART ;)

there is a tool under linux that lets you watch movies in ascii mode. I don't really remember the name of teh tool, but i think it was something like aaxine (ascii art xine). You can just open any movie file in ASCII mode, was kind of impressive. There was also another one that could let me watch TV on my TV tuner in ASCII mode.
