Opinion

http://www.freewebs.com/phibraco/

i finished designing/developing this website 2 days back,
UPed it to freewebs for testing, still haven't uploaded all the data.

it's basic html, some java (OnClick w hal 7arakeit), a flash menu...
designed in Macromedia Fireworks, developped in Dreamweaver

hit me with your opinion, and how much is it worth?

i've had professional opinion who said i should sell it for minimum 2 times what i asked for :? but i had already told the customer (a very old friend) how much i wanted.

Re: Opinion

Great great design, really! You are talented in graphic design, I love the main design and the menu.
But appearance of the text is less than brilliant.
And please, for god's sake, please, change the font!
Try verdana.
The text in "about us" would be better if bigger.
And remove "MAIN PAGE" that appears when you open the site.

Re: Opinion

Yeah much better like this!
But the return button doesn not seem to work, it'll take you back to the "main page" instead of the previous page.
You can go back to the previous page using javascript, it goes something like "history.back();" ...

The text in "history" needs some corretions, you have double spaces and missing spaces... but I think you already know that.

Re: Opinion

i just had the RETURN button replaced by "RETURN to main page", since users can click the back button in the browser to go back to the previous page.

still noone told me how much is it worth!!!

Re: Opinion

chabeb , khabbrouneh,
on the history page, there are some area units  (740m2, 100m2) and i'm not being able to put the square (2) into "puissance" position, any code for that?

You have to enclose it in a "sup" tag like this:
740m2

FYI the small 2 is called "superscript", so I did a google search on HTML superscript and found this.

Ur welcome ;)

Re: Opinion

start->run
type charmap and hit enter
you'll get the character map
when you click on a character, you get the "alt" code on the bottom right of the window, in the status bar.

You can type the ascii letter directly, but the recommended method is to use HTML entities.
For example, if you want to an é (alt+0233), you write this in the HTML code:

& # 0 2 3 3 ;
(remove all the spaces between the letters)

and it will be rendere as an é in the browser. That's an HTML entity. Note that it's the same code (233) then if you're using the alt thing.

Here's a reference about HTML entities:
