Hello I want to get a new monitor. And I am willing to pay 300-350 dollars.

Could anyone recomend one?

you should be looking at an lcd monitor it is the best time  to switch
so here are my top choices
17'': viewsonic vx724 (great value)
19'': lg flatron l1980q (i am not fan of lg too many bad experience)
20'': viewsonic vp201b (great monitor expensive though)

$269 on pcandparts.com

Havent' tried this model, but I would not hesitate to buy it, Viewsonics have a great reputation, it's 8ms and 17" dont get much cheaper then that.

You can get a 19" for like 350 on pcandparts, but it's benq, no idea about the quality and I dont think you can get one with low latency (8ms) at this price.

why not get a computer/tv screen? I know I got a 19" philips screen that I can connect to a computer, and other devices (playstation, dvd)

hmmmmmmmm not bad but if i were u i wouldget a normal crt flat screen frosamsung 793df and would get some more rams or a video card withthe rest of themoney

BTW you can also get a 15" TOUCH screen: you'll be using your finger on the screen instead of the mouse.
