I have a copy but it's not comlete!
Kinda useless, huh?
I use Fedora (have dowloaded the FC2 Cds - current version in FC3) . In case you didn't know fedora is the free version of redhat entreprise.

Wrong!
Fedora is NOT the free version of Red Hat Entreprise.

Re: RedHat Enterprise linux 4.0

yup, it seems I got it wrong.
I thought redhat was split in 2 in 2003, but it seems to be more complicated:

A week after Red Hat announced that its open development process was in the process of merging with the pre-existing Fedora Linux project to create the Fedora Project, the renamed second beta came out: Fedora Core 1 test 2

Yet there seems to be so much common code between the two...

Re: RedHat Enterprise linux 4.0

Fedora Core are just newer versions of red hat 8 and 9.
Red Hat Entreprise is the suitable OS for productive servers. The main difference is that RHE supports better SAN and NAS (so SCSI in general), RHE ships with a wider selection of Network File Systems and supports more architctures.
RHE comes with support, since you're paying for your product.
