kazaa problem

hi  ihavee the cable connection from gds and i have a cyberia 128k account

the think is bittoorrent works fine but kazaa is very unstable it never downloads straight  it keeps stopping  and disconnecting

Try different files. Maybe it depends on the peer you're downloading from.

I have IDM 256k.
It depends on the number of users that have the file and also I thing the "bandwidth" field.
When there is only one user for the file I get most of the time "more sources needed"
Sometimes I get "remotely queued", and then the download starts after anywhere some time 5-10-25 minutes
I have kazaa lite tools k++.
I just tried right now, I did a search and downloaded a file with only one source but with a good bandwidth (150). It started immediatly at 15k and now is 10k.
But maybe i'm lucky.
But in general I dont have too much trouble with kazaa exept that often I choose a file to download and get "more sources needed".
-BTW in options->filter I have set "hide files that I cannot download due to a firewall" I dont know where this option is in your kazaa (or maybe it's automatic). Because you're behind a firewall, kazaa cannot download files from other users that also are behind a firewall. The other user has to be directly connected to the internet (without firewall)
-try downloading files that have a good "bandwidth"
-usually more sources means more chances that the download goes ok.

rolf u said tick firewall button that means were behind a firewall so http-tunnel would actuallt help here right

You have to tick that button whether you are using http-tunnel or not. If you do not tick it, the kazaa searches will give you lots of files that you cannot download.

You have to tick this checkbox whenever your PC cannot accept incoming connections due to a firewall. http-tunnel lets you bypass firewall limitations for outgoing connections, but it does not enable your PC to receive incoming conections.

Outgoing connection means your PC connects to another PC to download a webpage or a file, etc...
Incoming connection means another PC connects to you to download a file from you, etc..
