Msn (sign in) glitch

After I downloaded the msn messenger 6.2 version I couldn't sign in anymore, the error its displaying is the following:
"We could not sign you in to Msn Messenger because your internet explorer browser cannot connect to the internet. Please check your browser's ability to connect."

I looked up the error number but couldn't find it in the messenger help topics (Error: 81000363)
Uninstalled messenger then downloaded it back again but that didn't work either.
And the thing is my browser is just fine, yahoo messenger works, ICQ works... Everything except msn messenger.

Well anyone?  :?

Re: Msn (sign in) glitch

It happened with me once.. that was because I set the internet explorer to work offline even though I am connected to the internet..
my advice to u is to double check if ur browser is connection.. open any webpage that is not in ur cach and click on connect if a message was displayed to u asking u whether to connect or to work offline

Yes that error message is correct. I have the same problem. I dunno why its happening.

You can see the error here: http://members.boards.ie/limbovski/MSN- … -Error.gif

It still happens with MSN Messenger 7.0 Beta and f*cking pi$$es me off seriously.

I'm connected to the internet obviously or I wouldnt be able to post this. Im using firefox nowe but IE works also. I have it allowed in the Firewall settings...

Anyone find a solution yet?
