Long story short; I reset my ogero D-Link router to its default setti gs (recommended by ogero employee), and my internet speed went down from 15Mbps to 5Mbps, and I can't seem to figure out why.
I tried to contact their support again, but they wanted me to call them from the landline number to open a ticket, but I dont have a phone to connect it.
Am I missing something?
Can someone with a similar router share with me the internet settings or the backup file (remove username and password) so i can compare it to my settings and find out what's wrong.
Thanks in advance,
Forgot to mention, its a D-Link DSL-224
There is only 1 reason from your side to get that speed and that is adsl modulation if you router is syncing with G
DMT modulation you get max 8Mbps you need to uncheck G.dmt and obly select Adsl2+ modulation disable all other modulations
I have already unchecked all modulation and kept thr Adsl2+ buy still no success,
Ogero support was not usefull at all,

are you sure you werent on VDSL before you reset? if not then your snr is too low ogero has 10db SNR margin profiles so that makes your line too noisy or faulty router as the reset has nothing to do with those numbers in anyway

Yes, pretty sure I was on adsl2+ (an ogero employee tried switching me to vdsl to get 3mbps upload but was never successfull due to the long distance, so i was stuck with adls2+),
I will contact them again on tuesday and see if they can check my line quality,
But its very weird that this only happened after I reset my router,
Thanks for your helps.
