Support for IPv6 on IDM Fiber

Does IDM Fiber have any IPv6 support or is it only Ogero?

I tried to enable IPv6 by configuring it to use DHCPv6 and RADVD. Both didn't work.

Re: Support for IPv6 on IDM Fiber

I have Ogero non fiber, and have an IP6 address (both internal and external) which is pretty odd.  You may have to ask them to activate it on their end

I'll try this now by contacting them via email. Hopefully it works out

What's the advantage of using IPv6 with your ISP?

The advantage is that it would provide with faster internet (no NAT is always faster) and I could host my web, game and multimedia server from home.

In all honesty I don't mind if I was just given a public IPv4 address, but I asked for IPv6 specifically because I'm aware that there is a scarcity of IPv4 addresses.

An update regarding the email:

I only got a phone call stating that I will most likely be getting a public IPv4 address and not IPv6, which would be good enough. Though IPv6 would have been better considering it is more future proof.
