UPS for PC and monitor?

The last time I used a UPS was like 15 years ago so I have no clue how much VA I need for my PC
I have a PSU of 650w Seasonic and a monitor 27'' 1440p  75W
So what is the minimum recommended UPS in VA?

Re: UPS for PC and monitor?

1500VA would be more than enough for what you need.

I divide the number of watts by 0.6 in order to convert it to VA. This is of course not an accurate ratio as it highly depends on the UPS, its hardware, and overall efficiency, but I use it to give me a "ballpark" of VAs in order to adjust accordingly.

You have a 650W PSU in your system, however you will probably never use that kind of power, generally speaking an average mid-range desktop would use under 500W of power during heavy loads on a single card configuration.

So in conclusion, anything between 1200 to 1500 would be great for you, but the higher the number you go, the longer the batteries will last as they will be strained less as you'll have more headroom (power-wise)

Re: UPS for PC and monitor?

I have a 1000W Corsair AX1000 80 plus Titanium rated PSU and would like to buy an Online ups. Has anyone had experience with PRolink products specifically this one  https://mojitech.net/product/prolink-up … w-lebanon/. After doing some research they turned to be Alibaba related https://www.alibaba.com/product-detail/ … 2c4a4do0uP and I find myself very hesitant to trust it with my pc. My other choice is an APC one which I know they are the best but comes at double the price almost with less power output. I have been using https://mojitech.net/product/ups-pce-vx … n-lebanon/ for other purposes for the last 3 years and never had a problem with it but everyone is telling me to stay clear of PCE for some reason. Also do you guys think an Online UPS is overkill in my case , your input is much appreciated.
