  • How to download torrents on fiber connection?

The village cable guy installed a "fiber" box today at my home, I tried dsl before and it was way too slow because too far from the central.
The speed of this fiber connection is pretty good, though I can't download any torrent, I tried with vpn but same 0kb/s.
Any solution to bypass this restriction?
I think they use a proxy
Use a seedbox and download ftp or direct download.

Send me the torrent you wanna download. I'll download it on VPS and send you an http link.
I am tempted by the seedbox.fr basic plan
7$ for 500gb per month, can I use this plan for torrents?
The other seedbox websites are either 300gb or 1250gb from 5 to 10$, 500gb is plenty enough
That's the thing
Yesterday afternoon it was about 1.5mb/s download speed and now 256kb/s
But now torrents work
It's totally wacko this connection

Speed test by Ookla just gave me 12mb/s but downloads are still sticked to 256kb/s
Looks like http only is at high speed, downloads are limited to 256, , will ftp by seedbox reach http speed or it will be limited by ordinary download speed?
4 days later
Ookla internet speed is showing 12mb download speed but all my downloads are between 200 and 240kbs!
How could it be?
Try to test on a foreign server (ex: Paris Orange) or a a diffrent website like www.testmy.net this will give you an accurate speed of what you have.
