Hi geeks, sorry for posting this here but this sub-forum has the most traffic.

I have a PCE 650 VA UPS, the battery is dead so before buying a new battery i wanted to check if the 650 VA will work with the PS4 Slim which is 160 watts (on paper it should work but in reality i dunno).

Thank You for your help.
Hey.

If the UPS is for the PS4 alone then I think it's enough.
The TV, sound system etc. will draw more power however.

I had a 1200VA UPS, that was powering a PS4 pro, a 55" 4K TV, a receiver and a sound system. It was just enough.
Cool, thanks for you reply.

I’ll be plugging just the PS4 and an ADSL router combo so i think i’m ok.

I probably have to invest in a bigger UPS just like you because i just had my LED TV fixed, the power outages are brutal.

Thanks again.
I think it should be pure sine wave and not simulated, right LifeEngineer?

No idea to be honest (I'm a civil engineer and I'm clueless about electricity :P ).
I had the regular offline UPS, not the expensive online UPS.

I see. Then most probably simulated since pure sine wave is very expensive compared to it. Could you send us which UPS do you have?
whatever UPS will work buy the cheapest one.
@kareem why would u need a pure sinewave ups for a PS?
