Re: Learning Visual Basic [VB]

well it depends on the school program! but I finished the program earlier than it needs, so I taught my students html, and dreamweaver (but of course no one appreciates it) and in the program there is Ms Access, so in order to teach them this they need to learn some relational database, basically the only thing i enjoyed teaching.
Inno now el Introduction to computing in universities is a class in school (I taught it too!).. and no surprise in a couple of years, programming 1 will be in schools for sure!

Re: Learning Visual Basic [VB]

Well, last year, i teached in couple of schools, well they enjoyed my way of teaching cause, i gived evrething about computing, introductions on evrething, from hardware to softwares to networking, and the terminal students know how to make a network solutions, as they know a bit in programming, as in what is hardware and software

i also, did my examps online, this is an example

http://www.zahhar.com/quiz/second.htm

now i'm planing to make an e-learning solution for schools,
it's a year project, working with the Sain's Coeur Bauchrieh High School
i bougth the url:
http://www.leb-schools-online.net

it will be the first e-learning solution for schools in lebanon, where teachers and students could meet,
it have a lot of objectives, still underconstruction and analysis...

wish me luck in this project

Re: Learning Visual Basic [VB]

Well too bad ya samer that in your schools teach you the office, but not the power of office tools...

you see , office is a powerfull tools, that you could create sofisticated programmes in small times, to develop a full solution for small and medium enterprises.

i just wish, that they could teach VB in creating macros and manipulating office objects using library codes....

too bad, no one even know that they do exist in the macro visual basic environment.
