Mate 10 upgraded to Pie, lost data with third party apps

As the subject says. I upgraded my mate 10 to Pie a few days ago and ever since then my data connection is sporadic.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, but only with third party apps.

I can open a website in chrome but can't in Mercury. I can send an email in Gmail but can't in Outlook.

Then randomly it opens the connection to everything for less than a minute and then blocks all traffic.

Any ideas? I have disabled and enabled mobile data for all system and apps, doesn't help.
