Hello guys
Has anyone heard about people sending work invitations from USA to Lebanese workers. They(usually the fathers) travel to the states get their residence and start working later on his family joins him from Leb.
If you have a family member there you can apply for residence so that you can join them, which also gives you the right to work. You are asking about "work invitation" which I believe is something else.
Do you happen to know ways to get a residence there without family? As far as I know you have to be highly qualified to qualify for the immigration program. However I know that some immigrants there work jobs such as taxi drivers, so how do they do it?

Hey Rolf
It works as the following:
Someone at the states (friend, relative or etc) that owns a shop lets say a carpenter want a specialist, a professional machine handler.
He invites his friend from Lebanon by a work visa and when he gets there he immediately starts work and gets his residence then gathers his family.

That is a myth. The work visa in the US is called H1B which has a limit per year.
Also it has a lot of requirements to be fulfilled by the employer. That is mainly the only type of work visa.

An option is the DV lottery. It is how I moved there late 2017.
I applied for the DV lottery program last year no luck. Lets see this year.
