I am planning to grab the
Asus Maximus Z390 XI Extreme for the I9 9900k. This board requires two 4+4Pin for the CPU. The CPU can work on one, but for an extra stable juice for the i9 9900K good OC (two is recommended).
My current PSU is
Tt Toughpower Grand 850W 80Plus Gold (Fully Modular)
https://www.thermaltake.com/products-mo … C_00002130
It handled the HeroX , i7 8700K OC to 5.1Ghz on All 6 Cores , 1080Ti OC to 2100mhz , multiple LL Fans , H110i 240m etc.. Perfectly.
My Concern is the Second 4+4Pin CPU Output from the PSU
Is the Red Input above the CPU 1st 4+4Pin CPU Output can ve used as a secondary 4+4Pin CPU Output too or only for PCE-E? The PSU website doesnot clearly indicated where the PSU unit has two 4+4Pin CPU output. It has a strong 12V rail yes but this part is ambiguous.
Is Bringing a 8 to Dual 8 Pin EPS 12V Motherboard Power Supply Y-Splitter Adapter Sleeved Power Cable resolves that , ot the CPU 4+4pin power output is limited to a rated W thus no benefit?
Thank You
