guys, i was able to get a Q&A sessions with Mr Kreidieh, head of Ogero. he is not able to answer everyone on twitter due to the sheer number of questions or the repeated questions.

so please reply to this post with your questions. I will go through them, and compile a list and send to him.

Is the infrastructure really ready for higher speeds? And what about homes far from the central who are getting let out from the new speeds, will they get a solution for higher speeds? And more clarification on FTTC which he mentioned will be available
As he mentioned that all the requested bandwidth was given to private ISPs, does it mean that abusive FUP will stop being enforced?
Also, will he do something to fasten the process of switching ISP? As most of the time the process is being held up by ogero.
will the vdsl be using vectoring technology so it can reach higher speeds on bigger distances?
Will we have a reliable Internet after this update (Packet loss)? Also will we have a better ping times to Europe?
Does he know that there is a full Internet forum of geeks that are analysing and discussing his every tweet and for whom he is the only reliable source of information?
Is there any plans to provide IPv6 for customers and ISPs? As i know for ISPs it is much easier, as core equipment are fully ipv6 compatible.
Will they do something about unlimited plans soon or will they stay stuck at 2mbps?
Will the upgrade significantly affect upload speeds too?

I am just your friendly neighborhood geek, and tech enthusiast/blogger. Questions will be compiled into a list and be mailed to him tomorrow at 8pm. this is a more efficient method, as it avoids bombarding him with repeated questions, allowing space unanswered questions to be answered.
can we ask for switching to fastpath ?
administrative access over our DSL modems ?

Are there any plans to piggyback other services such as VOD, IPTV, and digital telephony over the new and improved infrastructure?
When upgrades are completed, would the internet speed still dramatically decrease at peak times?

The municipality of Tripoli provided an area for Ogero to build a new central in Abou Samra. Do you know when it will completed ?
