It might not be the right place to post this, but months ago I upgraded to windows 10 and it seems I'm having problems because of the drivers (my laptop is 6 years old), so I'm considering downgrading back to windows 7 and formatting the whole pc, but I'd rather keep some files like fatass games that will take days to re-download. Can someone tell me how can I make a backup folder?
Windows downgrade help
Hi
If the game has a installer i use this method:
- Copy the the game folder and back it up on other directory or USB flash.
- After installing new windows, copy the game folder to the same path location
- Run the game installer, it will download some header files but when it finds that all the other files are existing it will tell you that the game is installed correctly. and you can run it now and play.

Use Steam's backup/restore feature or, if your games aren't Steam games, copy the installation folders to an external HDD.
