after updating graphics card drivers

Hey everyone
I have an hp dv7 17" led display laptop with core i7 2.2 ghz 8 gb ram and a radeon hd 6490m graphics card.
The screen was broken a long time ago so i have been using my laptop as a desktop on my led tv using vga cable.
2 days ago i updated my graphics card drivers from the amd website.
It updated the drivers and the catalyst control center too.
After i restarted my laptop nothing appeard on the tv till now.
I tried everything but nothing works my laptop doesn't even go to sleep when i close the screen.
Does anyone know what i should do to be abel to view the screen on the tv as i used to do normally??

Try to Detect display and select you're T.V

I can't see the screen i said that my laptop screen was broken and i cant connect to tv

Had you tried win key + p
try seaching your laptop brand and your windows how to connect to a projector

I have a function key that i normally used to switch between projector modes but after the update it wont work even the brightness controls wont work too but the other function keys are working normally
