Working fine on Digitek.

Question,
If my satellite set to catch cable vision, will it work for Digitek as well? Or it is in different direction?
Is there any channel difference between CableVision and Digitek?

You can catch Cablevision and Digitek together,  it's doable.
I have them both  although it needs a little bit of fixing now since I'm not receiving any signals.
The bigger your dish, the better.

And about the channels, they are quite similar,  they have many channels in common,
But also they have unique channels of their own as well.

It will depend on where it is pointing---I had to reposition to another cablevision broadcast  because the ones I was pointing to were down for a while.  So, now I lost almost all of the digitek channels.  About 20% of the channels are the same (local, mbc's, canal), but there are some  differences.  If you are not subscribed the Bein package with cablevision for example, you will find the sports variety on Digitek, is much much better than at Cablevision.  There are more channels in French too.

Re: Is cablevision worth it?

Hi
Does anyone having a problem with CV HD channels?
Mostly by night the HD channels signal drop to 60 which is causing interruption on screen or freezing every few seconds, i get a bigger dish  installed and it didn't improve the signal.
Only OSN Movies HD and OSN Movies Action have a 64 signal, most of other HD channels have the freezing problem.
I am receiving the signal from beirut, my brother has the same problem and he is receiving the signal from chouf.
I get the CV dealer once and came to my house and didn't suggest anything.
If anyone has any idea how to fix it or knows what is the problem?

I have managed to decipher Cable Vision Channels  , Part of Digitech (embedded in Cable Vision) , Hot Bird Channels - Process is very complicated and long , since it needs some fine adjustments on dish mounting and dish eye mounting , I am using two dishes simultaneously. All HD , watching the Euro Now :)

I have the same receiver, I already have a Gshare account but it will end soon.

can you tell me how to do it, or maybe doing it yourself (not for free ofcourse)

I have a 30 cm dish installed and my signal is near 90% and no issues. There is usually more than 1 spot to point the dish--maybe pointing at another broadcast area may solve your problem.  I had issues with mine recently and and had to do the same thing and no problems now.  You could have an issue with interference from something too--you would have to diagnose that though to figure out a way to address it.

Re: Is cablevision worth it?

Hi guys.
I have a dish in Faraya pointed towards the Digitek emitter in Faqra. My signal is okay during the day. At around 9:30PM i start having sudden 1-2sec drops in signal which renders viewing very difficult around 11PM. My overall signal is okay but these drops feel like interference. I thought it was the street lights (there is one nearby) but they are turned on at 6PM. I am not aware of anything electric being lit in my line of sight at 9+PM. There are 2 trees 30m away but they are also present during the day.
I tried moving my dish by 10m to another place but I keep having these drops.
Here is an idea of what is happening (notice the sudden drops):
FluxBB bbcode test
Any thoughts?
Could it be a problem with the emitter itself?
Thank you

Legitimate Cablevision User for more than 7 years, par around  150$ per year without sportschannel package. best part is the HD channels. worst part is they force you to have their own receiver, so i dunnow if it can be cracked.
also bought a 60$ receiver that crack polish and french channels on hotbird, i got my sports matches from there :)

Anyone successfully controlled their cablevision receiver with an LG magic remote?
I have this receiver: https://www.cablevision.com.lb/Content/ … eiver2.png

Re: Is cablevision worth it?

I own a LG NanoCell TV.
I think that the procedure to link the remote control to devices is the same as they run the same OS (webOS).
