Programming Autocad

Hello does anybody know how to program Autocad, Create new functions and such, new commands. Is it possible to draw things programmatically? I don't mean using the command line but rather writing a program and when executing it it creates a dwg file or something similiar.

Re: Programming Autocad

I haven't use AutoCAD in some time now but I remember you could use macros.
For example http://www.cad-notes.com/how-to-automat … nd-macros/

Re: Programming Autocad

What a coincidence!

My neighbor came by last night and asked me if I could help him learning AutoLisp so that he could build some logic programmatically in AutoCAD.

I'll report back my findings once I have anything.
