Twitter Web App - iPad

I'm not one to give praise to a website or anything but I'm absolutely shocked about how awesome twitter website appears on the iPad. It performs better than most native apps, even their own!

I would like to open this topic for discussion in terms of techniques used to get a similar look and feel as well as interactivity procedures.

CSS media queries are the way to go for a responsive layout.

Two projects worth checking out are:
• Tappable: a standalone library to invoke the tap event for touch-friendly web browsers
• Viper: small JavaScript animation library, change a property of an object over time.
