cullinan86 First of all, to all administrators, I've seen similar topics with no clear answer. I noticed that many Lebanese PSN users have downloaded PSN Plus subscriptions and downloaded paid games...So my question is, what is the best way to pay for UAE Playstation store? i already tried my Debit card, but since it was issued in Lebanon, it didn't work.
omarmasri As long as your account is a UAE account then go to Sony World Or Virgin and get yourself a playstation card. You get a specific credit either 20$ you pay 22$ for it or 50$ which you pay 55$ to get. From this credit you can pay for playstation plus subscriptions and buy dlc or games. Goodluck man cause the UAE Store is expensive cause they take the same prices (in £ or € ) from EU stores and convert them to $$
elchebib Getting the prepaid cards is the best option. But unfortunately Sony World and Virgin take quite sometime to refill their stock. So you have to nag about it every once in a while when you do walk into their stores :)
cullinan86 Thank you for your replies. Administrators, thank you for your patience, the respectable replies are enough for me.
Hamboza If you have a US account, you can buy your cards from Amazon, which is more convenient and cheaper. But the US is region 1 so I don't know if it would work for you, and 90% of the stuff there are more cheaper than the UAE. I only buy some addons from UAE if i have a game that is region 2, otherwise anything else I buy from US store.
cullinan86 My problem has been solved, and the solution is close to what "Hamboza" said. This is what I did: 1- Went to my local bank and ordered an Internet card for maximum value of $200. 2- Opened another "Playstation Network" account with my residence cited as "UK". 3- Went to a website that sells PSN codes online and ordered a "UK" region card. 4- Received the code within 10 minutes via E-mail. 5- Code registered, subscribed to PSN Plus and downloaded a few games. And Everyone lived happily ever after.
Hamboza well good for you, but I really think you would save a lot more if you use a US account, unless you are bound here for a specific region.
