I am sure they are use the ray tracing technology.

The same technology used to create special effects in movies which look like real life.
yeah that the Best Graphics Mod for GTA IV.
this is a GTA IV mod? damn ... if its a mod then its most probably on PC yes?
how about we try to get the mod running on our systems?

I'll open a new thread to get the ball running and we could all share information.
OH SHIT, i generally hate gaming, but im all in for remembering the good old days of GTA ! Im going to buy it and download that crazy mod ! NINO here i come.

EDIT: download mod here http://www.mediafire.com/?ywcm396j7uc2a2y ~100MB
I downloaded the mod, but it's way too small (191 bytes). I didn't dare open the file. Something wrong?
The file seems okay for me.
I will upload a copy to a personal online directory in case the file will not be available anymore.
Please make sure the first one to test it, reports results here.
But... is this realtime? 25+ FPS?
Shatilov wroteif your PC can Handle it
I know that... just wondering if there is yet a PC that can handle such details in real time. I've seen youtube videos, they're very impressive but I can't really tell if it's the same level of details as in the photo, partly because of the low resolution on the videos.

PS: here is one of them:

What? No dude, this is pretty far from the ray tracing tech. Ray tracing in real-time perhaps wont run at decent fps for another generation or two, that's why I think it's overrated and can be simply replaced by a lot of advanced lightning and reflection techs in real-time.

It's just a notepad that have the mediafire link to the mod.

I installed the mod alongside some road textures and real cars. It's a heavily modded ENB series called iCEnhancer 1.25. That guy is a genius indeed, he should work as a lead programmer or something with Rockstar.

It runs almost at 25-30fps @1080p on my PC, and looks photoreal at some points. I say if you have the right rig, just go ahead and try it out, otherwise just don't bother, it's a resource hog. @xterm, yeah open a thread, we can post screenshots and shit.

Here's a video for the latest mod version http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfGIs-NiX-g

Ahhh...but do you have the hardware to run that massive ****** port that is GTA IV?
I likey! But is it just me, or do the graphics look a bit...just a bit...cartoonish? Especially the NPCs?
2.9 core duo, 2 GB ram, 1 GB VGA should be enough. no ?

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not. But if I know you right, then I hope you're being sarcastic :P
I downloaded it and tested it, its very nice, of course not like the ones posted in the first link, but it is way better than the game's stock graphics.
Here's some pics:
